At the End of the Summer You Could Be A Guitar Player!

Ok, first I want to say something to anyone that will have time off from school for the Summer. Think about this… you get a guitar and some lessons, you practice all Summer. And, when you go back to school your answer to the question, “What did you do this Summer?” won’t be “Nothing.” This time you could answer, “I learned to play the guitar!

Now, that will impress your friends, your teachers, your parents – it will even impress yourself! This course I am recommending costs far less than private guitar lessons and it’s easy to use with its step-by-step instructions. This course is ideal if you don’t have a fast computer or want to practice without being on the internet or having to download lessons (because this one is on DVDs). There is a good review about this course - it’s called Learn and Master Guitar (just follow that link to read the review). You can use this course to learn to play acoustic guitar or electric guitar. If you like online video courses and want to learn the acoustic guitar, read about another course: Jamorama Acoustic Guitar. Pick up tips and get inspired from the online guitar players who have shared their videos and tutorials. A site I like for that is Guitar Lessons For Beginners.

Put those doubts out of your mind (or block out those thoughts that say you can’t actually learn to play the guitar this Summer). Not everyone learns to play the guitar over night, but you really can learn in a month or so. An entire Summer would give you time to buy a guitar, buy the lessons, start learning and there would still be plenty of time to practice and get pretty good at playing.

Now, I’ve got a message for parents. Maybe you have to worry about whether your kids will sleep too much this summer, or they’ll watch too much TV. Consider helping pay for this course to encourage your child to start to learn to play guitar (and to get them to do something of value with their time off from school). One course could be used by the whole family – so parents and grandparents could learn to play guitar, too! Maybe you could come up with some incentive, such as have certain chores that must be done each day for your kids to earn the privilege or a reward such as a guitar or a guitar course. This course, should a grandparent or parent help to purchase it, comes with a 60-day risk free guarantee.

I am so fortunate to have had guitar lessons when I was a kid – I am really glad to be a guitar player! I may not be a famous music star, but I get so much enjoyment out of playing. So, think about it – really think about it – you could become a guitar player this Summer. Whether you plan to form a band someday or not, you really could learn to play the guitar before school starts up again!
