Clapton’s career has spanned more then 50 years and he still continues to perform. Check out some of the amazing work he did with Cream such as “Whiteroom”, with Derek and the Dominos such as “Layla” and of course his solo material such as “Tears in Heaven”.
Jimi Hendrix
Always leave the best for last I’ve been told, and not many can hold a flame to the guitar god that was Jimi Hendrix. While his life was cut short he accomplished much in his short 7 year career. From his amazing performance at the original Woodstock concert to many of his notable tracks including: “Purple Haze”, “Hey Joe” and “Little Wing”.
Learning a Hendrix song or two is an experience all in its own and gives a guitarist great respect for just how talented he really was.
