Great Train Robbery Rocks!

This past Friday night, Great Train Robbery kicked it into high gear at the Break Away II Sports Lounge In Hagerstown, Maryland.  This was their second performance at Break Away II and based on the crowds’  reaction it was, without a doubt, even greater than the first time they appeared.

The current Great Train Robbery band members are Dave Capozzoli. Bass/Vocals, Jeff Coulson. Guitar/Vocals, Dwayne Adams. Drums/Percussion, Rick Tehansky. KeyBoards/ Vocals/ Percussion and most recently, Guitarist Jake Lambert, was replaced by Walter Jay of Walter Jay and Texas Flood, a Steve Ray Vaughn tribute band.

GTR has entertained audiences for over 2 decades all along the east coast, releasing 8 albums, and playing over 5,000 shows at colleges, festivals, fairs, corporate events, and night clubs. Get prepared for the for the train ride of your life as they explode and come alive at Break Away II Sports Lounge.

With a performance like theirs, don’t be too surprised to see them returning again and again!

Hagerstown’s 4th Annual Bonanza Extravaganza
Hagerstown’s Professional Firefighters’ Foundation, IAFF Local 1605, is holding our 4th Annual Bonanza Extravaganza on May 8th and 9th, 2009. The prizes have been added to this year and total over $800,000 in cash, cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

There are over 90 prizes, none less than $1,000. The prize list includes seven new Chevrolet vehicles and seven new Harley Davidsons being given away in addition to many cash prizes and a grand prize of $100,000. You do not have to be present to win any of the prizes on Saturday.

On Friday night this year we are giving away $1,000 to twenty people in the crowd. This event is held at the Hagerstown Speedway where the attendance last year was around 6,000 people on Friday night and 7,000 people on Saturday.

Buy a BOTTOMLESS beer mug for $10 and drink all weekend long, as much as you want. Free catered meal from noon to 7pm included for the cost of a ticket.
